Gains from TB on Cobra?

I believe that as well, almost for sure. Are you going with just the throttle body and no plenum? I know for 2v motors it is pretty essential to get both to have the power gains (still around 6-8), because one without the other is just bottlenecking each other.

You should try posting a thread in the 4v forum :p

Dont they make a big oval TB for those? I seen them put one on a bullitt and it make like 8HP accross the board until the peak which was like 3. It seems like you went mod crazy lol, so apparently you have plent of $$$ burning holes in your pocket. Go for it :nice: .

:rlaugh: :rlaugh: yea I've spent some big bucks over the past 3 weeks, and my checking account shows it :( . The tb (if I get one) will go on with the cold-air kit and a mass air meter (if I get one). After those induction mods I will take the snake to the dyno and have it tuned on the dyno. Im just trying to find out info on the parts I want before I buy them. :D

A throttle body is pretty much a waste, at best maybe a 2-3hp gain. The stock throttle body works just fine on even a 800hp 4v engine. About all you will be gaining is the "bling" factor.

:stupid: i know several cobra owners who went out and got the TB's and they were either a b1tch to tune right or they just gave up on them and now they made them paper weights
