Well, I figured I'd post up a few pics of my very empty garage as well as a couple of in progress pics.

Here is the first one looking in diagonally through the garage door.

Here is the same thing...just 180* off.

Up next is another garage pic...again from yet another angle.

Here is the old motor. It's now apart...and the milshake inside was horrendous! I have a rebuilt engine in which I'm swapping everything over to.

And here is the new tranny waiting to be abused. :nice:

Midnight metallic blue….

With a black passenger fender and bumper cover. :D

On a side note I've only been there for a few months and am in dire need of some countertops/cabinets. I'll be stealing the kitchen coutner/cabinents from the kitchen when I get a chance to redo it…but for the time being the floor is my playground.

On another side note, after tearing the engine apart I found the head gaskets were not the source of the coolant invasion. I'm now starting to wonder if the block may have a crack in it somewhere.

did you check the intake gaskets? or maybe the timing cover. i had mine leak thru the timing cover one time. and i thought i blew a head gasket.

I really wasn’t able to inspect the timing cover gasket as it tore when I removed the cover. I would imagine both were fine however as the last time I did the head gaskets I had no noticeable leaks. The failure seemed to be somewhat sudden which is why I initially thought head gasket. Oh well, I'll inspect her more thoroughly when I the engine down fully to rebuild it (it never hurts to have a backup). :nice:
