I got a Mac off road H-pipe (installed) from my son for my B-day.

My gas milage has suddenly improved close to 20% !!!

I think the cats were not functioning too well before, the 'butt meter' tells me the car is running a lot better - but best of all - NO MORE PINGING!

Anyone else get the same results?

Holycrap dude, that's horrible. You need to get your car checked out. With my mods in my sig. I get 250 per tank.

On topic, I also noticed better gas mileage after I got him. But I always punch it cause I love the sound, so I don't see a difference anymore, lol.

I also get under 150 a tank, does anyone know what could cause such bad gas milage, and i only stomp on it once in a while, i normally shift at about 2-2 1/2 grand

No, I felt no real gains at all and had no improvement in mileage when I got the off-road pipe. Of course, my stocker only had about 30,000 miles on it at the time. I'll tell you what is odd, though. I did eliminate a pinging problem that I had and got a very slight improvement in gas mileage when I switched from the off road H to my current catted X-pipe. I swapped for entirely different reasons, but that was the unexpected side effect.

I was getting 150 miles per tank. I got new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter. The old air filter was dirty. I also have a new fuel filter. If mine isnt good I will replace that next. I also gutted my cats.
