I recently bought billett pedals for my 2003 GT Mustang. I got all the pedals done except the gas pedal. Does anyone know the best way to get this pedal off?

Thanks,
Anthony

Pop off the little plastic/nylon guide holding the cable at the top of the pedal, then you can use a 13mm socket on the two bolts securing the pedal to th floor. There is a pin holding the plastic pedal to the metal housing. You will need to smack it pretty good with a hole punch to get the pedal off. Put the new pedal on and reinstall.

The plastic guide fits in a U shaped slot at the top of the arm that is attached to the pedal. The open end of the U faces up, so you want to push the guide up and out of the U - don't pull it toward you. The cable will stay attached to the guide and it will just snap back in when you reinstall.
