gas tank size

i know this must sound like a stupid question. but what size is a standard gas tank on a 65 289 coupe?

If you want a couple more gallons, you can run some of the bigger tanks, just make sure to swap the sender, too.

i plan on using a 70 mustang tank, it is 22 gallons. it is bolt in swap you do have to use the 70 sending unit.

That is what is in my 66 Fastback. The extra size gave me more room for the EFI intank pump also.
