im pretty sure I have a vac leak on my egr and tb gasket seals. Do you guys use a sealer?

Only use sensor safe sealer if you choose to use sealer.

Scraping the gasket surfaces absolutely clean is the step that many people fail at. Gaskets need to seal against clean shiny metal to work properly.

Ok, so the other thing is I have an exhaust leak. When I did the stock header re- install I used had no issues. Do the 199 dollar banks have issues? I used the stock BBQ supplied gaskets. Should I use the silver fel pros instead? That's what I used on the stocke headers and no leaks?

Most of the cheap headers supplied gaskets are junk, but more due to the imperfect flanges. What headers did you get?

I got the 200 dollar bbk's. And used there gaskets. I have a set of new fel pro graphite silvers I'm going to replace them with. I did get the vac leaks fixed and got the car running and idling sweet!
