i just got finished wiring and screwing in my autometer gauge cage..i got 3 electrical gauges for it, so i had to shove that little piece of foam in the air duct behind the vents there....now when i turn on my fan...all the air comes out of everything but the 2 side vents...do they also get blocked because of that foam piece? i didnt think so.....but maybe they do?

also i got my ignition/power wire just pushed into a 30 amp fuse on the fuse box....i dont like it that way cause im afraid it might pull out by accident?..whats a good way to make sure its permanently in there or something...somebody said a fuse tap? what are they and how do they work?

dude i got zero air coming out of my side vents? i dont get it???
and no im tapping into the fuse box..fuse number 9 its a 30 amp..i need a fuse tap though i think what do they do?

Like I said the foam is only going to keep air from going out where the center vents used to be. I have a guage cage in my car too and my side vent's don't push much air either. You said you didn't like having a wire pinched in the fuse box so I said a more permanent way would be to tap into the red wire that supply's the radio that way you won't have to mess around w/ the fuse box. A fuse tap is just a small piece of metal that clips on over a fuse and allows you to attach a female connector on it for a power source.
