Well tonight my gauge cluster lights went out & haven't come back on. They, sometimes, did this before, but would come right back on when i played w/the dimmer switch. This time no go. I replaced the dimmer switch, but that didn't fix it. Anyone have any other ideas? It's an 89

The fuse (fuse 13) is ok?

Test in/out voltage at the dimmer. You might end up going backwards and finding a bad connection at the back of the wire egressing the fusebox or something like that.
It does take a few mins with a meter.

Good luck.

Fuse is good. I don't have a volt meter

A DMM or test light is needed. You can get a DMM on sale at Harbor Freight for less than 5 bucks, and they have test lights on sale for a dollar. You can also make your own test light if you need to.

Without some circuit testing means, lots of money can be wasted by throwing parts at issues.

Good luck.
