Been getting interested in gauge setups, for my car lately. What meters etc are in some of you're favorite setups ? Think it would be good to know more info about what is available as options. Is there a in dash tach replacement for the stock one that is more accurate , for example? Also used to have a oil pressure gauge at one time, but the line to it melted. So went back to the stock setup. Are there some oil gauge setups out there, that are faster response wise than the stock, but immune to problems like the line melting?
TIA,
Hink

I enjoy these threads also. I've got a few pics on another PC; I'll post a few after I get out of work.

Here's something I've been doing for the 01-04 Stangs for a little while, and the 87-93 parts are being run later this month:

As for the cluster replacement, Florida50. I think 50droptop has a set in his. You can choose which gauges you want.

As for the gauges I'd say Oil pressure, Fuel, Tach, Speedometer, Water Temp, Volts, then a few gauges in a pod for A/F and vac/boost if needed.
