I went with Motive and they are awesome. No noise, no problems. I have 15,000 miles on the Motives. I hear FRPP is a safe bet too.

FRPP are easier for an installer to setup backlash properly. I've had a few tell me this. This lessons the room for error and get that dreaded whine.

I have FRPP 4.10 & they are awesome. A friend of mine who is a retired Ford master mechanic installed them in just a few hours. He said they are by far the easiest due to the reasons the others here have stated.

If you go with Ford you shouldn't have to worry about whining. I have heard this from several people also...and I have never had any trouble with mine. The only problem I see is that you are not going 4.10s

Yeah, I have to agree, get the 4.10's if your staying N/A. There are only about a million posts argueing that subject

FRPP.. me and my dad installed these in our small 1 car garage and it was very easy (if you know what you're doing). There's no need to shim the pinion gear and backlash was very simple.

Motive makes 3.90 gears, maybe you could try those.

I've been tempted.
