gear selection on nitrous car??

well i was gonna swap to solid axle but for now im thinkin just to add some gear to my car to hopefully crack 11's
what would be a good gear that isnt gonna be to radical on my half shafts i was thinkin 3.73 gear with my 100 shot should be alright as long as i dont drop the hammer rit outta the hole.....
but then i would also like to have have gear that my help me on the street more without having to use the nitrous to often so then i would prolly go 4.30 but would that be to much gear for my half shafts to handle..
any info or input on experience would be great....

4.10's or 4.30's...the 4.10's will allow you to go up to 126mph before having to shift to 5th and the 4.30's will allow 120mph...

Either should be plenty for a 100 shot...

you are very brave man.....those half shafts are gone in no time.....I had the same idea of running a 75-100 shot. Nope not gonna happen with the stock IRS. Good luck...I hope you can find some cheap on ebay or something

so even a 373 gear is too much w/ my nitrous ...i realize that if she starts hoppin to back outta of it cause that is prolly the main cause half shafts are broke
