First, Special Thanks :nice: go out to Brent Spencer (SPENCEB) of 2Kool Performance and Gilles Rochon - the mechanic. SPENCEB gave me some good prices on some FRPP 3.73s and Brothers Speed-Cal. And Gilles gave me a good price on the Install and was very helpfull through some car pain. :nice:

As For the Gears, WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!

I can see why people say that 3.73s are an 'All Round' Great Gear to choose. You move so much quicker, and on the highway I just launch past cars when I go to pass. But the RPM are not too high at over 100km/h that I feel the cars is working too hard.

BUT, I can also see why some people may like the 4.10s. The car can take more gear, but I don't think I personally would like the 4.10s on the Highway. Even with the stock gear, when travelling down the highway, sometimes I'd be in 5th, and go to shift looking for a 6th, then quickly realize that I don't have one. :D So, I made the right choice for me.

Gilles also made a set of Sub-Frame connectors for me. He bent and weld them on for a very good price. :nice:

But the gear change was not without it's little problems. When changing the gears, Gilles and I noticed that the Rear ABS Sensor was broken, the plastic housing was cracked, so $80 & a Day later it's fixed. THEN, when changing the ABS Sensor we noticed the Axle Seal was leaking and leaking bad, so a few days later and $10 in seals and some money for Gilles. That's all better. Nothing too serious, but these are things to consider for anyone else shopping around.

A Well Worth It Mod!!! I Highly Recommend It!!!

So, Next Mod? Suggestions?

I'm thinking Steeda Tri-AX Shifter and/or Strut Tower Brace.

Congrats on the gears :nice:

Yes it s a great mod. Only regrets for me, i should ve done it at the beginning. For a couple of months i couldnt decide on 3.73 or 4.10. I m glad i choose 4.10 espacially on an auto.
I had the same problems with ABS sensors. They were stock in place. Lucky for me, i had the job done at a ford dealer and still 1 day left on warranty.
They replace both ABS sensors, all the seals, all the bearings and most of the labor on the warranty. Was so happy, i wanted to kiss them.

So how's your FIRST gear -- does it seem short? I already find my first gear short with my stock 3.27's; I've bounced off the REV limiter twice this season already on launches! You'll have to take me for a spin one of these nights -- maybe you need to take it to the Ottodrome for some 1/8 runs...

I'm still trying to get familiar with the speed at which I need to shift, It gets up there very quick. It's not hard to bounce off the Rev Limiter, I've done it a few times already with the new gear.

I'll take you for a ride anytime. Get your ticket soon, there's a line-up forming. :D
