Why not just get a short belt and delete the smog? 89.5" belt did it for me.

cause i need the smog for emissions....i wanna just get a shortbelt, but my dad is being gay aobut it...hes like why do you wanna spend money to get another belt if you can get another smog pulley, and i was like i dont needa go to emissions for another 2 yrs, and i dont wanna wait til you get off work to go to the junkyard and get a pulley.......

matt- did you delete just the smog, or also the a/c, cause my a/c is long gone, so i need a pulley to bypass the smog and a/c.....any length info?

I deleted the smog only. The length for the A/C and Smog in think is like 84.5" but dont quote me on that. Why not get a belt and delete the smog, for a couple years, then put your other belt back on when emissions come time. BTW you have an off road pipe...how does that pass emissions?

I used an 85" belt for my a/c+smog delete.....but that's for a 351 so it wont help ya .

I just installed my factory belt, bypassing smog and a/c, then cut it to the correct length. I then measured it with a tape measure, and took 1/2" off to allow for the tensioner to, uhh...tension.

I have an offroad pipe, and to further strengthen matt's question....I know without a doubt that I wouldn't pass a smog test in even the most crooked of countries. A hole in the ozone actually follows my car around when I drive....I smell raw fuel when I throw up the rev's, and usually it leaves my passengers choking, all the while I sit back with a big smile on my face enjoying the loss of many many braincells...

haha ill get some in a few minutes.....to answer ur ?? aboot the smog, i have a stock hpipe for emissons....and i just ordered a smog pulley for teh car last nite and picke it up at 9 this morning............so ive been driving around....

EDIT: here ya go guys it was kinda dark so i couldnt get good pics....ill get better ones tomorro........this is just to show teh difference in color..........but its not a good representation.........

hahaha one of em is gold and one is like rusted red.....ones of these days over teh summer i gotta get arond to painting all 4 of em cause im gettin tired of 4 different colored ones..........

xr8d- thanks man i waxed the new nose cause it was so scratched up and dull, and i waxed the rest of teh car like 3 weeks ago before it went into the shop where it was indoors for 3 weeks...........im telling you guys, this Harley's wax from cali is AMAZING......better than most waxes.....
