As an old guy I'm getting ready to crawl under my car now that the weather is a bit cooler. My car has been dumping oil out the rear main seal. Next week I plan on doing a pictorial in doing a sleeve to fix this mess. When I give it gas it just spins at the clutch, and I dont want to pay a guy so Im doing it over. Question??? Some people say a sleeve wont work. I did my clutch last year with a Teflon.

I put a sleeve on and had no issues Pete. I still have the plastic tool to install the sleeve.
I believe we discussed this before and i offered it to you.

Im a little surprised that as much as the rear main seal leaks , nobody has done a sleeve. You never know when I did it last time it may be coming out the pressure plate screws. I cant imagine they are leaking but we will see

Flywheel bolts need threadlocker/sealant.
Pressure plate bolts are not in a oil area.
