Getting an Explorer intake, will it clear my strut tower brace?

Hey guys. I recently installed a BBK strut tower brace, and within the next month or so I am going to install an upper and lower intake from a 1997 Explorer V8 (otherwise known as a GT40/Cobra intake more or less). What I want to know is if I will have problems fitting the STB back in around the new intake, I have no idea how it compares to the stock unit in size. If anyone has dealt with this, let me know. Thanks and Happy Holidays!

So no one knows? I find that hard to believe. Come on guys. A simple yes or no will suffice.

If no one knows then just try it and see, if not sell it and use the money to buy a Maximum Motorsports brace

I think you're gonna have to take some careful measurements, and then let all of us know. It clears the strut braces on my Volvo - but, that doesn't help you very much.

I am going to keep all the bolts coming off of the truck when I pull it. I have heard about this problem before. Thanks for the info
