Getting an intake/tuner

Which is best?? currently Im looking at the Steeda combo ($624) is it worth it?does anyone have this? If so, how do you like it? I dont really care for what it looks it like as long as it has a nice power gain. What tuners are good? I think the x-cal2 comes with the steeda kit...and is it really possible to get rid of that damn throttle lag?!?! I hate it! and last, do they really improve the fuel mileage?

Steeda, JLT, and C&L seem to be among the best and yes throttle response, gas mileage and all around fun improve greatly.

Out of the 2, the Steeda will perform better, as long as it comes with the high flow elbow. Otherwise, the C&L Racer flows just a bit better, and looks a might better too. I have both ('05-Steeda '07-C&L Racer) and I definitely prefer the looks of the C&L one.
