So I am getting a miss or random stumble with the spout connector out, doesn't run with spout in and pulling an eratic PIP code from constant memory, I thought it was the ignition so I checked the cam timing, replaced the distributor, IRCM, TFI, and it still missed.

Today I tried something different. I sprayed carb cleaner into the intake of the VAF while it was stumbling and what would you know if I slowly sprayed the carb cleaner at a measured rate the car ran perfectly, no stumbling, no missing until I stopped spraying the carb cleaner so my problem has got to be a fuel issue. I put in a 190LPH fuel pump in the rear, and my fuel pressure is at 38-40 and constant when running, I tried two sets of injectors, same results, tried another fuel rail with different fpr and fuel smoothing diaghphram. Has to be something the computer is doing, maybe a bad VAF? What else would keep the injectors from firing correctly? Tried 3 different computers, checked my re-pinning many times. Any ideas? Thanks

got any extra injector clips as well as a tail light bulb socket clip?

wire the tail light bulb inline with the clip as the tail bulb will act as your resistor for the injector and then hook this contraption to the battery. You should hear a "click" noise from the injector if it's working right. Do this with all of them and any that give you a weird noise dont use.

You say it was running fine while spraying the carb cleaner in? wait till the engine is cold and crank it up and then start spraying along the intake tubing before and after the turbo. If it surges/smooths at any point then you have a leak at that point. You may have a bad gasket or intake connector somewhere throwing off the air readings.

do you have a spare vam?

why havent you fixed that spout problem yet? I would worry about getting it to run with the spout IN and OUT first before trying to fix anything else. Have you still not taken your wiring harness completely out yet and gone through it checking each wire for continuity? Also, go to the junkyard with some wire snips and snip off a few extra spout connectors....your actual spout may have gone bad and need to be replaced.

also, I think I mentioned this in one of your other posts but when you did the original wiring on the swap, how did you move the wiring pins? did you just cut the wires and swap them or did you pull the actual pin from the ecu connector and move it? If so you might want to go and check those. Mine ran like crap for the longest time and at one point...not at all because one of the pins I moved backed out a little when I hooked up the ecu. I just had to push it back into place and all was good.

though when I get a chance I'm going to replace that pin since it's clip is broken and I know it'll just come out again.

Have you checked the IAC? If you don't find anything when you check for intake/vacuum leaks, I'd look at the IAC and see if it's stuck and/or wired properly.

I think I'd look at this problem as if you had too much air rather than not enough fuel.

I did check continuity on all the ignition wires, checked all the pins in the computer harness and I moved the pins, didn't cut them. I thought the spout connector is a shunt, is it an actual chip, or resistor? I'll try the cleaner around the intake to look for leaks and around the turbo. I replaced the air bypass with another and same symptoms. I bought some noid injector lights but I will also test the injectors, they were just cleaned though by Cruzin performance and checked out fine. Thanks for the help guys.
