guys I want to go with a nice set of wheels... I plan on putting some power mods on the car so I was thinking 18x9's up front and 18x10.5 in the back, would this be a good setup for a blown car? Also what size tires do you suggest? I want nitto 555r tires if possible so... and last does anyone have pictures of either the Falken torque 5 rim on a stang or the ssr gt3 rim on a stang???

If you want your car to go fast, don't do 18's. I have seen anything larger than 17's actually slow your car down. As for tires, go with the Nitto DR , or the BFG comp t/a DR. Good luck!

You can go with 18s, i love 18s, they do hurt performance but not much if you have the 18 inch nitto drag tire.

I think its more a function of traction while accelerating, due to the smaller stiffer sidewall. If you get a tire that is around the same diameter you won't have a gearing change. You will also gain a few pounds of rotational mass, which will slow you some, but they do fill the wheel wells with more rim. In my opinion if bragging about your ET isn't number 1 on your list, 18's make a nice esthetic upgrade and handling addition to your stang.
