I a mfixing to send my 351w to the machine shop and was debating on having the '87 ho heads reworked or dropping around a grand on a set of aftermarket. I am working on a budget of about 2000.00 so I will be reusing all good internal engine components. Local shop told me he would do the machining for about 5 or 600. I know that you get what you pay for but it is either work with this budget or sell the coupe and stick with two stangs, I like a hatch and all but a notch looks so much better.

Oh yea and in the head dept. what would give me the most bang for my buck? Eddelbrocks, trick flow, AFR's or a set of gt 40's? Car will be mostly street with some strip time when a race beckons me.

I got a set of TW's on mine that I did a cartridge roll port and polish to them... holy crap they mean business. Loud, too. Problem is I gotta get my RPM intake Extrude Honed now to keep up with the heads... or get a Victor 5.0... havent decided yet, depends on how soon I get that CHP 306 I've been scoping out...
