Girls and Mustangs

I am merely making an observation so I hope no one takes offense but what is up with girls and automatic, V6, convertibles with those hawaiian lays around the rear view mirror? They are a dime a dozen and I only know 4 women who drive either a Cobra or a GT. Has anyone else noticed this?

Well, girls love convertables, pretty things, and fun cars, which the Mustang fits the position perfectly. Girls are less competitive and powerhungry, so they don't mind the V6. Because they usually like to just get in and go they choose the automatic, after all, t's harder to talk on the phone and do makup in a stick, especailly with a V8.

I'm a girl and drive a V6, no hawaiian lei, and it's not a convertible Give me 5 1/2 more weeks and my 351W will be in, then I won't fit your stereotype at all!

Although I believe I'm a little more competitive and powerhungry than most girls... I bought this car knowing that I'd put a bigger engine in it, so maybe I don't count!

that's a lot of the reason they make v6's...not everyone is power hungry. Some people can live with below 200 hp...I guess. Either way, I see the stickers and stuff on the mirror in all kinds of cars...

99.9% of girls see no difference in a 750hp 1G pulling Stang over a V6 LX with 205/60/15 tires. They are both Mustangs to them, except one is much cheaper.

Do you know any specs on how you are going to do the swap? Like what PCM or wiring harness you are going to use. I am thinking about doing a similar swap to a SN95 V6 using a pushrod motor or my spare 99 cobra engine that I have.

there are girls that drive V8s they are few... but there out there.. there is a real nice one that goes out to the races "import underhood staring convention" with a white 95 cobra.. and the real nice thing is that she is hot.. and she can drive..
