Ok i started driving the stang Wednesday, it ran good when we test drove it, and its been running good since then.
Tomorrow (Sat) i am off finally.
I plan on looking over the 5.0 and cleaning and what not.
I'm going to jack her up and see if it has the 2.73s that the door tag says.
Its a pretty stock car, it has a full Flowtech exhaust from what i can tell without jacking her up, it also has some lil small stuff...
I need some tips on what to check out that may need fixed/replaced...
Its got 130k miles.
I am going to check to tps, and clean the IAC and try and clean the seats.
Adjust the hatch, and adjust the 4 inch cowl hood.
I plan to get 4.10s soon, what the correct speedo gear for this gear?
Also when i get on it, i hear a sound from the gauge cluster, a click, it it the white speedo stick thing?
Also i know a 5.0 has Posi, when i was trying to roast them at school the kids watching me told me i was spinning one tire, am i doing something wrong or what? When i power brake do i just lightly press the gas until they break loose?
Also, how can i get my guages working?
The speedo, gas and battery work, they are by themselves.
The tach, temp and oil, all of which i need alot dont work.
Could this be cause by the aftermarket wiring harness thats on the car?
What can i do?
Also if it has the 2.73s what would the cars top speed be?
I have only went 100 mph so far, too scared and not enough road.
It pulled really hard up to about 85 then it wasnt so much when it got closer to 100.
I dont know if every car then can go fast does this?
I'm new to v8s and fast cars in general, coming a from a 4 cyl stang.

The 5.0 is much faster than i expected, my car is pretty much stock and its fast as hell, you guys made it seem like it was going to be slow. Not the case for me.
