Going back to iraq

Well I just talked to my platoon Sgt. We just got orders to go back to iraq in sept. So five years in the army and four years have been in the middle east, 3 trips to iraq and 1 to afgan. I have three purple hearts, one bronze star, 3 aam,5 aroms, 3 ggm, So one more trip to the beach for me i guess. Just wanted to let you all know I'll be having fun over there, while you'll sitting around and drink beers with your friends and party.

i just got out in Feb, 5years overseas...im done. normal life for me is nice. good luck be safe. hit us up on the forum every once in awhile if you get to a MWR center.

Thank you too sir! and get ur ass back here safe and sound. My very close cousin Josh is going there in a week. He's a marine, and my other cousin jeff leaves for the Navy in 3 weeks. Grandfather was in the Army for something like 12 years (flight engineer), then made prosthetic arms and legs for the army in Army hospitals ever since. ( well he retired 3 years ago. Well again, goodluck and stay small. thanks
