cool thanks. Have skinnys up front. The slicks are actually 26x8x15. They look kinda tiny compared to my 275/60 street tires but.....as long as they work. I just hope my 8.8 holds up and I can't improve 60 ft times with crappy stock control arms!

When I try a line lock "burnout" on dry pavement with the street tires the rear shakes like it's possessed.

25thmustang do you think I will lose power with lose of back pressure if I puill my exhaust? I have adjusted my 2.5" exhaust 80 times since I put it back in after the motor installation and I cannot get the right rear tailpipe to stop rubbing the frame where it goes over the axle.

sounds like you're experiencing some wheel hop. some better control arms should cure that. those slicks should work just fine. just heat them up in 2nd. good times on your first time out man, and good luck tomorrow!

oh btw, screw nitto's....bfg's FTMFW!

WoooHooooo!!!!! All time new record! (only been to track twice)

With stock upper and lower control arms and 26x8x15 slicks.

It hooked hard and suprised the heck out of me!!

Made 5 runs no problems other than the car coming off the dolly this morning........no damage

I will post a time slip and if I can a video.

The last pass was my best and the funniest. I hit the traps and heard a loud bang coming from the right rear almost like a tire blowing out. Scared the crap out of me! I got out of the car on the return road and walked around, nothing found. Parked the car and celebrated my timeslip. All of a sudden a track worker came up to me with a part of my car! My right sail panel sheared almost completely in half!!!!
