Going rate for a rebuild

What is the going rate for a 5.0 rebuild? Anyone had it done recently? Just wondering what you paid. thanks for your time!

Id also like to know this...what does it cost for someone to put together the motor, blance it, etc....say put the short block together, cause I can do the rest..rick91gt?
