I want a C4 because of the durability and cost factor. Going with a case fill, 57 tooth, PA hardened 26 spline input, PA manual VB with trans brake, PA 3000 stall 10" converter and B&M C4 rebuild kit.

I know I'll need a trans cooler, lines and a shifter. What else is needed? Is my driveshaft gonna be too long/short? Do I need some sort of crossmember?

I've been on clickclickracing.com a lot lately but the boards over there aren't exactly on fire. SilverFox is the only one who replies (moderator). Wish that site would get more popular with the 5.0 Auto guys. Oh well, I can always depend on 5.0 tech!

Oh yeah, what would the weak link be in my combo with this setup? I figure I'm leaving the line at 3000 on slicks turned by a detroit locker with 4.10s. Got control arms, torque box reinforcements, stronger u-joints, and the hardened input shaft will be enough to hold everything together right?

I just want reliability at the track. I want to be able to leave hard every time and have piece of mind that I can beat the piss out of this car.

Any idea what you plan on it running? I'd say the weak link may be the axles if they are stock type. I'm running a C4, launching at 2600 on the bottle.

The drive shaft should be just fine, I'm using the same one we had in it when it was a T5. As for other supporting hardware, some say you'll need a crossmember, I didn't, but it looks like those may be different from car to car. Good luck!
