yeah I get a lot of it at my college. everyone leaves at the same time to go get lunch b/c theres a lot of local places to eat, so theres always a line of cars going off campus, like waiting to turn onto the main road. Sometimes when I come in and everyones leaving Im driving the other way up the small road where everyone is lined up and every other car I get someone doing the light em up thing with their hand, gets so annoying, I cant say I dont hate the attention though lol. Feels good when your hard work is appriciated/respected.

I hear ya on saving the tires. Last summer, I set the Line Loc in my Cobra and did a 5 minute burnout at my cousin's graduation party, ruining the tires. I just replaced them two weeks ago and it cost me $266.00 from Summit Racing and another $40.00 to mount and balance them. That burnout cost me $306.00. That will NEVER happen again. For what it's worth, the tires I had on there were 5 years old but still had 3/4's of the tread left. When I was done, they were slicks. I chaulk it up to the fact that I never did that stuff when I was younger and I had to do it at least once before I die. Now that I've experienced the pleasure of the burnout and the pain of the replacement tires, I'll let someone else do it next time.

That would assume I bring my Mustang to college...

I do have to bring it at least one day though; everyone has been bugging me to do so for 9 months now. Plus there are some WalMart special ricemobiles here every day that need to see a real car.

You build a car like mine and then leave it outside all day around a bunch of degenerates and tell me how easy it makes you feel

I know how you feel... my car still has the factory paint job and needs new paint. Is nowhere NEAR yours and I'm very paranoid when it comes to where I leave my car parked lol

I never brought my Mustang to college. No way would I do that. I remember one day freshman year when some guys got drunk, walked up to the first car they saw and rolled it onto it's roof. Then my roommates car was stolen twice. Then one sunday morning around 6AM as i was about to go for run i walked out and saw somone put a shopping cart on the hood of a jetta.

Bring my Mustang to college?? Never!!

I did bring it a couple times, but only on the weekend when i went home and needed to swing in and grab a book.
