I have a 98 Cobra with a SQ trim vortech supercharger. I am going to the April tuning session in Bristol, Ct. I already plan to spend the $400 to get the car tuned by SCT. I have approx. $750 to spend on upgrades before I go.

Since I don't have tons of time to search the forums what would be the best things I could get done for this amount of money to add HP! Would larger injectors or throttlebody do any good? Also questioning overdrive pulley for supercharger. Any other mods that I haven't thought of?

what are your current mods......everything aftermarket

did you buy a s/c kit with all the fuel stuff included?

Supercharger kit came with all parts but did not come with larger injectors.
I also have flowmaster cat back exhaust and 3.73 gears.
Supercharger is the 8psi sq trim.

Well I can't answer if larger injectors would be better if you don't list what size injectors you currently have :)

If you are using too small of injectors and are using a FMU to compensate - then YES you will need injectors as the car will not be tuned with an FMU - Jerry's rules LOL

A throttle body will help as will a MAF. Send me an email to [email protected] so I can look up all your information - be happy to point you in the proper direction.

As to whether or not you will get a chip or a reflash - it depends upon the combination and the actual vehicle. There is no difference in the tune.
