yeah I was looking at heads, but Id like to get some AFR 185's.

But when I do heads I will need alot more than the heads...
Pushrods, Rockers, valve covers and a camshaft.
So heads will go on the new motor im building.

Which intake and TB?

I really like the look of the black TrickFlow intakes.
But alot of people seem to like the Cobra intake...

i wouldn't get a tb bigger than 65mm unless the engine is going to be forced induction

it doesnt matter what size he gets, theres people using 75-90mm on stock shortblock cars and they run just fine and have plenty of bottom end!

i didn't say you couldn't run a larger tb on a stock shortblock, but what does the shortblock to do with the fact that he has stock heads, cam, and intake?

i can imagine the throtle responce with a 90mm tb and stock longblock , what intake are they using that comes with a 90mm plenum? (TF box-r?) and what heads?... probaly not e7's

Its called tuning, there has been plenty of people to run bigger t/b without f/i and have no problems with throttle responce.

Go here and get educated

Why does it seem like valve springs are so overlooked?
