I'm new to the online mustang site and I am going to the track tomorrow for the first time just to let everyone know. Cleaning out the K&N and trying to get my gas tank as low as possible. The question came to me was this: Can I clean out my mass air with carb cleaner? I remember that my buddy did it one time and told me it would be fine. Just Double checking to make sure to get the best time

Yeah I think people have used carb cleaner before, I used the rubbing alcohol like wytstang said. Pull the back seats/spare too for the track.

HA! Are you serious about pulling the back seats? I can see the spare being pulled out but the back seats? I can't pull the passenger seat because my girlfriend is coming along to watch (granted I could pull it and make her sit on the ground but that wouldn't make me a very good boyfriend). I'll get back to you on my times

You could take out the passenger seat once you got there if you wanted to reduce weight, and put it back in once you leave the track.
