First time at the track with my car. What can i expect to run with the mods in my sig? Also, how should i launch the car without tearing it up? 3k and slip the clutch? Launch off idle?
I do a nice 4-7second burnout with the tire pressure at 25psi. Hold the revs about 3500 and slip the clutch until i feel the car hook, once that happens, I roll into the throttle very smoothly and quickly. Track prep is key but even with marginal prep, i pull low 2.0s high 1.9s.
I was pulling these times on michelin pilot sports. I also have used sumitomo htrzII's and gotten 1.9s. I haven't been in the 1.9's on my khumo 711's though.
