ok i'm gona start the story from the begining cuse things r going to go crazy in the end
i rebulit my engine about a month a go and in addition for what i have i over bord the cyl to .060" installed frpp alum 1.6 RR,frpp stock lenth hardened pushrods ,new stock hyd lifters ,and frpp valve springs, and a 3.73 diff
everything went ok and i drove the car about 1500 miles then i got a good deal on an frpp x303 cam so i got the cam and installed it without changing anything else and here things went crazy ,i found a very big gap between the rocker tips and the valves and pushrods that didnt go even with the lifters filled with oil
as far as i know the x303 dont requier changes to anything in valvetrain geomatry
so plz help crapola crapola

the cam has a smaller base circle.

welcome to the world of tuning.

here bro, i will help ya out.

you need to call this number.

1-800-230-3030

tell em you need:\
2 checking springs
an adjustable length pushrod
a degree wheel
a dial indicator
a magnetic base

now, a side note.......

you NEED to know the specs on those frpp springs. you have NO CLUE if they are strong enough, and i doubt they are, since frpp only sells one spring that is strong enough, and it does not use a stock exhuast valve rotater.

the cheapo 110lb seat frpp springs are not enough. i *THINK* those are the "A50" springs..... the "B50" spring have alot more seat, and open pressure, and are the only alphabet compatible springs they sell..... not that they are all that however.........
