I totaled my car hitting a bear this week (I believe the thread is still on the first page)
so I've been looking for a new car. I was looking into a fully built 2001 Cobra but that didn't pan out.

So I turned to the dark side. Sorry guys.

330 awhp (to the ground!) @ 21.5 psi tuned.

$21,900 with 46,500k miles.

Turbo XS Front mount intercooler (/w BOV)
Turbo XS Turboback exhaust with 4" downpipe
Cobb Accessport tuner

Just that and it makes 330 to the wheels I'm happy.

I was actually debating between a WRX and my Stang, and it wasn't an easy choice. I'd choose an STi over my GT hands down though

Congrats!!! I personally like the previous STI body style better, but its still a badass car I think it needs some better, wider shoes & a tad bit lower stance. I wonder if it will smoke my Mach 1

I second to that. I carry Para 1911 PXT in my car with extra mag. Its more for those sorry punkass who wanna rub me in my car, and questionable if .45 is gonna do anything to the bear, but 16 rds of Hydrashock outta do something I presume...

As far as WRX goes.... not my cup of tea, but really nice car regardless

My friend has a 2005 Stock STI. He went to the track for the first time last week and ran 14.3 and a 14.5. They are fast but a stang can beat those numbers. I can respect what the STIs can do but the looks don’t do it for me. I can't stand that wing and the hood scope should be a lower profile.

The WRX has a lower profile scoop, and the wing is functional. I dig it.

If the STi ran a 14.3 an your friend knew how to drive it, then a GT would be a good half second behind the STi.
