Can I flip the Eddy performer around so the inlet is on the driver side? Saw a thread about a custom intercooler setup and I want to do it on my car.

Also, if I do add the intercooler, will I need to modify my tune at all? IMO, the intercooler would make it more safe, correct?

I saw that thread, but that's where my power pipe is so I can't bring the other pipes through that way. I want to do this without disturbing my power pipe or anything else for that matter.

in my opinion its not going to happen if your leaving your power pipe alone. and i'm 99% sure that you can't flip your intake cause the bolts don't line up.

i've been proven wrong before but with the power pipe there i just don't see it happening.

The picture isn't straight on but it kind of looks like you could to me. If you have it out of the car already shouldn't it be easy to try it?

That's just a picture I found on ebay. I figured they'd design the intake to be used on something that has the intake reversed, like late 80s Lincolns and Mercury's, they had the intake going the other way.

as far as the tune you might need one, just might run a little rich without one, your choice, upon installing an intercooler most of them get a 1-2 psi drop across them.

You can switch the directions.. Heres an older pic of my car, it all lines up fine. Your main issue may be the discharge on the vortech. You would want a straight discharge instead of the curved 90 degree disharge.. Other wise you will have two tight 90's, not sure if thats necessarily bad, but i would want it as smooth as possible..

so you flipped the throttle body upside down too? I was just gonne lift the upper intake and set it right back down the other way. I'm not sure about the throttle cable though, don't know if it will reach back around.

I havent gotten it all together since repainting the bay and what not.. But i believe the tbody has to be upside down.. Otherwise you would have the cable looped around and coming into the tbody towards the firewall, if that makes sense.. I think it would look very strange.
