Gonna sell the Stang

how much oil is it losing every tankful? how do the spark plugs look?

i had a lot of oil in my intake but i was also losing abut a quart every tankful. i think i blew a ring with my kenne bell because the #8 plug hole had oil coming out of it and the plug was completely covered with oil.

i felt like getting rid of mine too because it has been a year since i have driven it without something bugging me and worrying about it. but now that i have a new motor going in, i'm excited about it again.

Ever since i did the stupid heads and cam its been a POS. Right i need a better MAF, something to fix all the oil going into the intake. And its piss slow!! It was faster when it was stock. Im just tired of dealing with it. So its for sale. Make me an offer
Holy crap man, can I buy it!!! Oil in the intake, runs like a POS, needs more parts!!! Sign me up man.

I feel for ya man. I been there. Sucks ash. Hang in there and work methodically to clear your issues. You'll get 'er running. Plus we can't lose the Guero from Stangnet. It would just be too boring without ya!!!

OK Mr. G

Time to face reality with a heavily modified combo :)

It is gonna require more thought and effort on your part to make all the differnet parts gel together.

Just one example for you here

Oil in the intake :notnice:

I get a little myself :(

My 95 is a weekend toy only so I have placed the fix on the back burner as the prob is less of a hassle than it would be if the Stang was my dd.

I gutted the oil splash thingie to make room for my Scorpions.

I have thought about getting two half moon shaped pieces of metal and welding one to each side of the oil filler tube to prevent splash from being sucked up by the vacuum of the hose on the tube.

You gotta work with all kinds of little issues you create such as our talked about example when you do the mod thing to your Stang.

Heck ... That is what Hot Rodding is ALL about :D

I try to point out things like this to peeps on here when they ask about doing a lot of mods to their dd Stang.

You see the :bang: from those peeps who even use a kit such as the the one from TFS where EVERYTHING is supposed to be provided to minimize the hassle.

Bottom Line here is ............

With the H/C/I upgrade project and the Tweecer ............
you've put yourself in a position where you are ... in over your head.

That is good :nice: as that is how you learn :D

I've had my eye on you :)
and
You have my respect :hail2: for all of your efforts ;)

I know from your perspective, you don't see it :nono:
but
You are very close to having things all worked out

Like Danny said ... Be a Mexi-can :rlaugh:
(that one will be a 94-95 :SNSign: classic for all time to come)

Come on ... Be Honest here ... You've Learned a lot ... Right?

You have the benefit from all the 94-95 SN group who have been down the modification road you've chosen before you.

I have built countless combos and will say this ...............
It takes time to work out all the little bug a boos ;)

DO NOT GIVE UP MY FRIEND :nono:

 YOU CAN DO IT

We can :nice:
and
will help you ;)

Not to say my idea is the best idea :nono:

I was thinking about putting each piece on opposite sides pointing down at an angle.

For me it would be no biggie as my fill tube is in two even pieces.

I thought about one at the bottom of the tube close to the top of the vc and the other piece at the top of the same half of the tube.

Hopefully, the angle of the pieces will not cause a hassle with oil fills and the location of the pieces of metal will be low enough a funnel still can be used.

Anyway ................
just something to prevent splash from getting up the tube.
