good brands of hyd lifterers?

thanks guys,, I'm going to get the ford ones through summit.. I just don't want to trust the old ones into my new engine,, I there anything i need to do to the new ones before install? obviously lube them, but do you have to soak them?? thanks again..

I prefer to saok them in oil fully submerged for a few days, then I pump them up with my fingers and drop them back in while I assmemble everything.

dont put assembly lube on the rollers because it isnt needed and can actually stop the roller from turning because it is so slick. This is what I heard from some machine shops. Not sure how true it is, but I do see the point about not needing heavy amounts of lube on a rolling device.

the roller stopin from assembly lube is bs because there is extreme pressure pushing the lifter down make sure to use plenty of assembly lube
