i got some BBK longtubes and the catted h pipe used for $375 shipped.
here they are

good deal, im thinking they will be a tight fit due to the 1 3/4 tubes but has anyone installed those headers? i just want to know how hard its going to be or if their are any tricks to it, my motor is not in the car so i thought i would lay them in then drop the motor between them.

I had those headers on my 91 notch. They sounded great but install was the worst pain in the ass ever. You'll be in much better shape than I was if your motor is not in the car. I had to remove the starter and steering column rag joint, unbolt the motor from the mounts and jack each side up individually to get the headers in. Then, you'll have to make a 150 foot long extension and have hands steadier than a brain surgeon to get to the top starter bolt with a ratchet. They were worth it for the sound and performance gain, though.

Oof, 1 3/4 tubes. Make sure you get some stage 8 locking bolts. You don't want those suckers coming loose and popping a gasket.

They are easy with the engine out. Lay them in then bolt them up when the engine is in and bolted in with the trans.

cool, i was thinking the same thing on the stage 8's and i cant wait to hear them.
should i sell my stock 4 cat h pipe or would i get more for the cats at a scrap yard? thanks for the help.
