Sounds like a good deal to me. Have you seen the car in person? Driven it? If so and it looks and drives good, I would do it.

This will be the deciding factor. A car that is this old and that many miles, it can really, really range in price.

In good condition considering the age and miles, I would say it's quite a fair price.

The big question is what it's worth to YOU. Is this car worth five thousand of your dollars?

I would look around at what else you can get for five grand first, it will help you gauge it's value.

I paid 3500 for my stock 88GT, and many would probally say I paid too much, but it was worth it to me. Why? Because I found a one owner adult driven unmollested fox that has been religiously maintenced and cared for and never in a wreck... that put some serious value to it IMHO.

I'd have to see it. It sounds good, but if the car is a pile then i'd pass
