Anyone telling you that slotted/drilled/carbondualpolymerfluxcapacitor pads made them stop better had worn pads and rotors to begin with. Your brakes arent going to stop better than stock because your rotors have holes. If the caliper stays the same, your car is going to brake the same. Get whatever rotors you want for style and dont waste $100 for gimmick pads
I have the hawk HPS pads and the fronts make a grinding noise and the driver side now makes a clicking sound when stopping. I'm going ot have to bring my car back to ford to see whats up. They are the ones that installed them.
What do you mean gimmick pads? Pads have a HUGE effect on your braking.
At the track, regular brake pads get hot, and become inneffective..while the HP+ pads become more effective. The HPS pads withstand light tracking, while others, such as factory, and autozone pads glaze.
Get regular rotors. Get hawk or stoptech pads.
