I found out that the nitrous bottle in the hatch of my 82 has to have a hard line through the floor or a braided line attached to a bulkhead fitting to pass NHRA tech this year. I had a braided line through a hole in the floor...
Not having time to go to the shop that sells an fittings, I went up the street to an ac shop that also sells and make hydraulic hoses, brake lines, aircraft lines, etc.
He put a crimped-on flare hose end on and sold me a steel -8 bulkhead fitting for $12! Thats about half the cost of the reusable an stuff!
Suggest trying this for special lines!
