Good deal or not? Pics inside!!!

We are looking to buy a new car (well new to us), and we think we might have found it. It is a 2002 saleen mustang, with nearly 513 horses. Its white with the white rims. It looks sexy in my opinion. Anyways the price is 19,100. Do you guys think its a good deal or not?!

I like it, but the wheels are ugly as hell. 513hp, eh? Is that at the wheel, because if it is I would hope it have a built motor or it'll go boom pretty quick like.

Benny's right. Do your homework on this car.

Without a built block, that car is on borrowed time. Plus, I doubt that the Saleen roots blower can achieve that HP level without overspinning itself (at least I don't remember ever reading of one that high).

WHat's the engine setup?

Ok here is what the car has, or at least some of it. It has a vortech super charger (8 psi). It also has BBK shorty headers with H-Pipe, aftermarket throttle body, Pullies, K&N air filter, Bigger full pump, 373 gears,Mass air flow sensor, Aluminum driveshaft. It says it was dyno-ed, and that was the total amount of horsepower it reached. Soooo with that in mind, worth it?

8 #'s on that vortech blower is not making 513HP, that is a stock block and your probably looking at 370-390HP

to pull 513 HP outta that thing your prolly looking at 16 to 17 #'s of boost and there is no way the stock block will handle that nor will the saleen blower.

8 PSI on a Vortech is more like mid 300s to the rear wheels...and I bet that car isn't intercooled. With $19K, I'd wait and save a little more for an 03 Cobra that costs about 5K more.

i know for a fact..like everyone else..that car doesnt have 513hp from an 8 psi vortech and the other mods u listed

id give him 13 for a faleen..max

The base saleen with basically only a body kit, and minor bolt ons have the GT hood. The s281-e has the extractor hood.

And by the additional pictures, it's real. score 1 for stang|ess, 0 for rest of the world!

There are people really ignorant to horsepower numbers. they think adding an intake will yield 30 rwhp and such so maybe he's one of them.
