I'm looking for a good street car, i'm looking for numbers like my friends, he has 291 rwhp and like 325 trq, he runs 12.8's in the quarter mile and has some other aftermarket goodies to get the power to the ground. Anyway! I am able to aquire an old paxton 6psi blower from my mechanic, he wants a bigger blower for his 347 cause the 6psi isn't big enough, so i was wondering what it will take to get me to 300rwhp, lets take whati have now, full exhaust/CAI and assume the best, 200-210 RWHP (stock 180-190). The blower should ass 50HP? Actually a 9PSI should add 50% roughly, so 6psi should add 33% or 66HP, so now i'm up to 266-276, Correct?! Then i was thinking of adding a typhoon intake, which is, on a blower motor, 20HP? Just wishful thinking, so that would be 286-296 to the rear wheels, right where i want to be....? Is this all correct, do u agree? Thanks!

It should be right around there...

265-275ish

Enough to go play with the LS1's stockers.

I'd just save some money and get a D-1 though You would be a lot happier with the results.

And BTW,

I'm from Everett and have a buddy that sells me everything at cost from his performance / machine shop.

I can hook ya up if you need anything or you want to open up your heads!

I wouldn't expect 300 at the wheels with just 6 psi and an intake. Maybe if you get your heads ported or get bigger heads you can hit 300 but with stock heads it's hard to do.

I made 272rwhp with an SC-Trim at 4#'s of boost on a completly stock motor with full exhaust. I'd say with the typhoon intake and 6#'s of boost you should be right there! Unfortuatly at these power levels its a wise investment to get some bigger injectors and a mass air meter to match it..

thank you blk91stang, i was already planning on a bigger fuel pump, i guess might as well opt for 24# injectors and mass air meter...how big should the mass air meter be if i opt for those injectors and the 255lhp fuel pump?

hmmm. id suggest you get 255lph pump, AFPR, and 80mm MAF calibrated for some 30lb'ers, and obviously 30lb injectors. You'll eventually get boost happy

My tuner recommended me 42# injectors and a 80mm Pro-M with a supercharger and my car runs amazing without any kind of tune! I'd say get the bigger injectors if you plan on h/c/i in the future or even now. I don't have any experience with the other injectors so don't know their limits...

BTW get the HIGH PRESSURE (GSS340) 255lph fuel pump. My car made 408rwhp and was still running rich so this pump will do you just fine!! Plus its only 10 bucks more
