I am on a quest to find some good junk yards that may have some parts that would fit a 99-04 Mustang, such as GT take off exhaust. I am looking to have some true duals added to my car, but most shops I have gotten quotes from average between $550-$700 for duals. This would be for Flowmaster 40's, a set of tips, and some mandrel bent tubing to fit the car. I know people in various parts of the country that only paid no more than $250 for their duals on their V6's, so I have no idea why the cost in the area is over 2-4 times that amount.

I just want to find some take-off stuff that I can find for cheap, supply my own 40-series flows, and just have turndowns put in. I don't want fancy tips or anything, just a stealthy rumble from underneath the car. With that said, where are some good junkyards that may have what I am looking for? Even then, does anyone know of a good shop not looking to rip me off on some simple fab and welding for this project?

I am looking to get this done pretty soon :nice:

The Flowmaster kit from Jegs is only $319 for SS tips. Just an FYI. For take off stuff, I'd talk to Chung. He's on here now and again....
