First, the good news. She's alive!!!!. Some of you read and responded to this thread: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=558318.

Turns out the battery had failed. It was only putting out about 300 cranking amps. So, I got a replacement battery, and she fired right up. Even idles pretty well so I just need to fine tune the timing.

Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions and advice.

As for the question. What causes fuel to come out of the Float Bowl Vent?

Typically, I think that is a cause. This is a brand new carb though.

There could be a metal chip or flashing holding the needle open or the float is just way out of adjustment.
