i want to order my exhaust system. this is what i am thinking of
- mac 2005 Mustang GT 1.75" Long Tube Race Headers, Ceramac Coated
- 2.5" Pro Chamber w/Catalytics, to MAC long tubes
- flowmaster axle back.
good setup or not?
should i go with the JBA long tubes instead?

I disagree. The slp's and flowmaster's are very Loud with alot of resonation in the cap. Flowmaster is nothing more than a chambered muffler, and slp doesn't even use a muffler. I went with Bassani's and have experienced very minimal resonation in the cap. The sound is great and you'll add more HP with the Bassani's.

IMO, flowmaster and slp are for the 18 and under crowd.

I would call who you plan to order from. Ask them about each product, they should be more than willing to help. Our you will here SLP, Bassani, no go with Magnaflow over and over.

The JBAs are a good system, except they dont have a crisp sound...they sound more like a foreign car and the MAC is just weak. I went with the Borla and I would never go any other way. Its real loud, but not too obnoxious- its a deep growl

I don't know what foreign cars sound as deep as my mustang with my JBAs. Maybe I should have bought that car instead.

I love my JBAs because they are deeper than SLP (not as loud though) and are louder than Borla, Magnaflow, and Flowmaster

well i like it kinda loud, and i dont mind some interior noise, it is a muscle car after all. so i went with the flowmaster axle back, and the bassani x pipe with compcats. now i just need to decide on headers, im not going with longtubes, im going to get shorties! i cant wait to get the car tomorrow so i can start modding it!

Was actually hoping you could edit it yourself so we could all make some sense of it.

Have you had a chance to sit in a 05 mustang with flowmasters american thunder mufflers? I have them and get no resonation in the cap.
