anybody got a recommendation for a good set of OE replacement springs for these heads , I got a set for 150 bucks and I am putting them on a 5.0 engine and I dont wanna break the bank on springs so what out there is good but under a 100 bucks .....
get some comp cam springs. you can use the springs they recomend for the lift of .512. they are about 90.00 bucks.
that is what i have on my gt40 irons and stock cam right now. will upgrade the cam later but i know the springs are good up to 512 so if i want to run a b,e,f or tfs stage 1 the springs are good.
Trick Flow makes a spring kit for stock Ford heads,it`s $130.00 at Summit Racing,but it includes everything...springs,locks,retainers and even new valve stem seals.Sounds like a good deal.
