Well I am trying to find out what is good brand for street use. I just bought my deep dish bullits 17 x 9 and 17 x 10 1/2 out back. I don't know if to go with bfg kdw or kds or goodyear f1s. I rarely go to the track so let me know. Also, I know I will be going with 315/35/17s in the back, but can you guys recommend a front tire size. I don't know if I should go with 255, 265, or 275s let me know-Thank you

Either of those tires will work fine in the back and any of those sizes will work in the front. I've ran 245s and 275s up front on my lowered car with no clearance issues at all although I now run the 245s exclusively.

What Tires?

I have had a blast on Goodyear F1 GS-D3s, but I don't know if their limited sizes will fit your needs. I have 18" Saleen wheels and run 265/35 on the back with 255/35 on the front. The F1 is a smooth running tire that holds the road very well. The GS-D3 was designed as more of a rain tire, but I have been very pleased in all around driving. The stock Pirellis on my car wore out at 11,000 miles. The F1s have been on for 5,000 miles and show virtually no wear. One word of caution: they catch rocks and gravel like you wouldn't believe. Check all the write-ups and comments on tire-rack reviews, but then maybe check around at some of your local tire shops. you may do as good or better price at a local discount dealer, and have the warranty and installation piece of mind.

When it came time to replace the stock supercar F1s on my vette, I went with.....

an identical set of F1 supercar tires

They're awesome. Dry traction is extremely good.

What about Nitto 555s? Are those only drag radials or is there a street series as well?

You can get the 555's in either one. The NT555R is the drag radial. I went with the 555's on all 4 on my stock rims. Im very happy with them, hooks decently in the wet, not too great, but ok. Dry traction is awesome. They grab the pavement very well in dry weather. Tread life seems to be ok, not as good as I would like, but thats what 17"+ rims get ya! but i think i can squeeze my $'s worth if i dont spin the tires too much! hope this helps!
