True story, happened tonight. I'm heading home from the girlfriends, pissed off cause we got in a fight. I'm driving through Lancaster, Mass towards Stow for anyone who knows the area. Anyway, there is this straight stretch of rte. 110 that is a causeway, about 3 miles long. Naturally, I gotta do 110 mph on 110. Soon as I hit around 90, (its a 35), my radar detector says "laser" and the blues come on behind me. Cop pulls me out of the car, frisks me, starts railin into me about being stupid and young etc. He kinda pauses for a second, then goes, "Alright, one more thing... whattya got under the hood?" Next thing I know, I'm poppin the hood and we're talkin about why he hates NOS and thinks "the bottle is for babies." It turns out he's got one of those 66 GT350 fastbacks that got made for the hertz rental company in his garage at home. Lets me off with a VERBAL warning and tells me to slow down through his town. The moral of the story - the 5-0 like the 5.0

SWEEEETTTT!!!! Its only 35 on a causeway? Wow, thats slow. I don't blame you though, I would want to do 110 on Cwy 110. That car that the cop has, the GT 350H, that was specially made for Hertz like you said. It is a very rare car, and I didn't even know that they sold them to the public, so if he has one, he loves Mustangs. That is one sweet car, and for him to let you off with a verbal, he must like yours too. What do you have under it?

well just like any other rental car. it gets a couple years old and they sell them off. my dad tells me stories of when he was younger, he used to rent them for the weekend just to dragrace it and bring it back monday. most of those cars were pretty beet.

hawaii 50s a good show. cops are like that around here. im still in hs and couple weeks ago i had a huge party at my house with 4 barrels and when the piggies showed up we ended up talkin bout my stang parked out front cause its got the motor out of it and basically instead of talkin bout drinkin they said keep it down and give them a call when the motors back in. cops really arent the enemy most of them are kids at heart like us and i dont miind that. bacon4life mofo

The last state trooper that pulled me over couldn't stop raving about how much he liked my car........and then he gave me a ticket! But I've found that 75% of cops out there are pretty cool.

Ice: Nothing special, just the basic bolt ons. My engine looks super clean though, I wash under the hood as much as I do the outside of the car. Whatever, I wasn't gonna argue.

I think they call cops the 5-0 cause thats the code when the dispatcher sends a cop to the scene, like "domestic disturbance, request a 5-0 at the corner of such and such."

Good thing you take care of your car. It really bugs me when people claim that there cars, whether they be American or imports, can do all kinds of stuff, and then they show it, or I see a pic of it, and it looks like a dust storm hit it. Oh well, at least you have some pride in your car. That shows alot about a person. Good man.
