I have toyo proxes FZ4 and the absolutly suck in the rain! I want to get rid of them. so what is a good performance tire with good wet traction?

I have been looking at the Pirelli P Zero Nero and BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KDW. supposedly these two are supposed to have excelent wet traction. anyone have have experience with these tires or any others that do well in the rain?

I am absolutely loving the Bridgestone Potenza RE-750's on my wife's 01. Even with 4.10s, in the pouring FL thunderstorms, I can boogie off the line and now worry. I feel very safe with these tires underneath me, but totally terrified in the rain in my OEM Good(for two)Years - total POS tires are at the end of their life after carefully maintaining them for 22K miles. The Potenza's dry traction is excellent as well. I love em.

what about against hydroplaning??

That's where my Toyo's have the biggest problem. I can go off the line no problem. But once i a cruising on the highway around 60 man it sucks real bad. Hydroplanes like a mother.

Goodyear GS D3's :hail2:

get the potenza re750s ive had experience w/ these tires, they gripped better in the rain than the stock goodyears did on dry pavement. i swear by them, they get better wet traction than any other tire ive seen , check at tirerack.com they got a good rating system, when i first got these tires i TRIED to make them hydroplane and couldnt do it, love them, and they last around 35k and i wasnt babying them, and cost around 150, great tires

Yokohama avs es 100's are good in the rain and cheap.

i had hankook ventus sport k104's & they were great in wet & dry. they have a very similar tread pattern to the yoko avs es100's :nice: when the hankooks were new on my last gt i had no problem cutting a 2.0 60ft at the track, without beating on the car. without a doubt if i would have beat on it a little i would have gotten 1.9's with ease :nice:
