It's my last day of work here at the shop today. I was offered a job at another company for 40% more than I make now. I've been here ten years, but I haven't been happy the last three or so.

I'm putting my family first and am eager and anxious about my first day tomorrow.

I'll be very busy programming machines and won't have much time, if any, to while away here while my machines are running. I will try to check in periodically.

Wish me luck!

Krash.

Good Luck to you! Sounds like you are a CNC machinery programmer/operator shrug: ). If so I use to do that. Nice. Good luck and get back to us soon.

Krash,

Same scenario as myself a few months back. Life changes for the better, you'll find a way to re-balance. I am not on as much as I used to, mostly due to work, but I make the time.

Good luck, and congrats!

Jeeze man, don't go scaring the poor guy off! He could have had even better news than what he reported - perhaps he even got those really large "rare earth" magnets attached to his spindles for use as wheel-holding devices!

Watcha screaming about, Fritz? I do that all the time! Heck, sometimes I drop in and catch up while I'm working - and the company pays me to do it. I obviously have to test out coustomers' broadband connections, both uploading and downloading; so I'll open up a circuit diagnostics window and another one for Stangnet!

One of the (very) few perks of my job

As I perused posts today, I saw your name lurking, krash. Greetings and welcome! It sounds like things are going well! Good for you! By the way, have any extra cash that I can borrow for suspension mods?
