If you are thinkin about a goodmark cowl hood, DO NOT buy one, the one I have has to be the most flimsy piece of crap I have ever owned for a hood, doing the body work on it is a nightmare because the metal is so flimsy. Had to rant!

Who sells the best priced fiberglass hoods?? 1.5 to a 2 inch cowl

weird, a good friend got one for his 02 s1o and it required no body work and fit perfect as far as seams along the fenders go. My grandfather also just got one for his 78 silverado and that hood is MUCH stronger than what hte stock one was. I guess it's a hit and a miss though, I can't vouch for the mustang ones. As far as fiberglass goes I had a kenean on my old 89 and for being an out of the box hood I had no complaints at all, I plan on one for my 95 as well.

3 in a row, mine came in with the cowl part destroyed and the hood bowed. I gave up on it.

I had always heard good remarks on the hoods too, their truck hoods must be alot better product than the mustang ones. The hood lines up and fits awesome, it's just the cowl part thats flimsy and a pain.

Once we get this hood lined out it will be my last Goodmark Mustang hood for sure.

I opted to go with a steel goodmark because my harwood fiberglass warped from the turbo in my gmc syclone.. the goodmark's fit and finish was extremely better then a cervini's and the harwood i've had previously.

I have a trunk lid on Hack Job from Mustang Parts & Accessories - 50resto Same way. Flimsy as hell. IMO original FORD hoods and trunks and hatches are PRICELESS!!!! 145 for the new lid plus 135 shipping comes to 280. The thing was crap. I'd rather pay 500 for a Ford original.

Seems all the GM stuff sounds like good parts, and maybe the Ford stuff isn't for some reason? Just a wild shot in the dark.

Kaenan is a great product though. Brother has one on his 06 and it was one of the best hoods I we, as well as the body guy had ever seen!

I actually done some research, looks as there were only 37 confirmed built by general motors in 1989. That does make it VERY rare
